I have many hobbies, including painting with acrylics, crafting, gardening, coral reef tank keeping, and music.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with a debilitating eye desease and had to stop painting and crafting. In 2004 my husband bought me a graphics tablet for my computer, this allows me to draw and paint very large pictures digitally and zoom in for fine details. So now I can carry on painting.
My favourite type of art is the old 1940s-50s pin up girls/ladies that the American artists of that elegant era made famous. My portfolio is based on that colourful (slightly risque) type of female fashion and glamour. Please note: All my work is displayed in low resolution (for obvious reasons!)
The original masters of all my digital work are on my computer in LARGE BITMAP FILES WITH NO WATERMARKS! I can print them for you myself ( this will ensure finer contrast etc). I do give discount if you order more than 3 different prints and of course I combine postage. I accept paypal which ensures a secure purchase. Please ... I am currently designing 2 types of vintage style pinup glamour girl calenders. One will be of my seasonal girls and the second will be of my clear pvc raincoat / mackintosh girls. Both the calenders will be for 14 months, starting the begining of November 2008 and ending 31 December 2009. The size will be A4 and each page will have 2 of my pinup girls + 2 months of dates. There will be 7 pages + 1 large A4 size pinup on the front cover. I just have to tie up the " loose " ends and find a practical way of binding my pages together , then I shall calculate the price and shall put the first calender for sale within the next 10 days , which will be the " seasonal girls " .
